Why Rainbow Waves was created?

The sea carries with it an endless sense of freedom. When the waves gently play against the yacht’s deck and the horizon fades into the glowing sun, a person feels something rare: absolute freedom of being. It was this very feeling that gave us the strength to dream - and today, it has led us to create Rainbow Waves.

This idea was born out of a personal need. As a gay couple, we have experienced firsthand how rare it is to find places where you don’t have to hide, pretend, or worry about how others perceive you. Places where "being different" is embraced as part of the world's beauty, not something to conceal. After years of traveling, sailing, and searching for a space to call our own, we realized that such a welcoming corner at sea didn’t yet exist. And so we asked ourselves: why not create one - a place where acceptance, safety, and true freedom reign?

We remember countless moments during vacations when we questioned whether we could hold hands in public or take a photo together without fear of judgmental looks. What should have been natural often became a challenge. Yet every one of us deserves a place where we can simply exist — love, laugh, rest, and dream. Without masks, without fear.

Rainbow Waves is not just about luxury chartering. It's about the feeling that you can always and everywhere be your true self. It’s about the small moments — mornings with a fresh cappuccino on deck, evenings under a canopy of stars with a glass of fine wine, swimming in turquoise coves where ordinary boats never reach. It’s about personal conversations, laughter, silence, and adventures that unfold when you feel safe and alive.

We want to create a space where each morning begins with the knowledge that today, you can simply be yourself. Where no one judges whom you love, how you look, or how you live your life. A place where every guest’s story is celebrated — with joy, understanding, and openness.

We believe the sea belongs to everyone. And we believe that luxury experiences deserve a spirit of community, personal touch, and true inclusivity. Rainbow Waves is a project "from us, for you." With heart, with a smile, and with open arms. We aspire to be more than just the captains of your journey — we want to be part of your stories, your exceptional moments at sea.
