Our Personal Story – A Journey to Freedom
We are two men who have been living together for over ten years. A decade that has taught us not only what true love and partnership mean but also how crucial it is to live truthfully and authentically. When we first met, we knew there would be many obstacles ahead, but we had no idea how many years we would spend living in hiding and uncertainty. We both grew up in environments where openly admitting our orientation was not easy and often meant risking rejection, alienation, and even the loss of close relationships.

For many years, we kept our relationship secret from family, colleagues, and sometimes even our closest friends. We lived quietly, in the shadows, often fearing how the people around us would react if they knew the truth about our love. It was a heavy and frustrating burden because we longed to simply be ourselves without having to pretend. We know very well what it feels like to be in a relationship that society either ignores or refuses to acknowledge.

After years of living in secrecy, we finally said enough. We realized that we only live once and decided to change our lives. Step by step, we came out to those closest to us, overcame prejudice and fear, and built an environment around us where we no longer had to hide. This decision not only gave us a sense of freedom but also the courage to support others who are still in the same situation we once were.

Today, we have been successfully running our own business in marketing and events for over a decade. Working together taught us to be reliable partners and proved that we can achieve great things as a team. This experience gives us full confidence that the project you are reading about is in good hands and will be managed professionally and with care.

Why We Decided to Create Rainbow Waves – Our Motivation and Drive
We have always loved traveling, discovering new places, people, and cultures. The sea and sailing have been a shared passion from the very beginning—a place where we felt the greatest freedom. Yet, during our chartered yacht experiences, we often faced subtle forms of rejection or lacked a true sense of acceptance. While the professional crews were polite, we could still feel an invisible wall that kept us from truly relaxing.

On the other hand, LGBT+ sailing trips we found were often heavily focused on wild parties, loud events, and extravagance—which does not suit everyone. We missed a place where we could experience quiet romantic moments, privacy, good food, and genuine acceptance. We realized that such a concept was missing from the market, and that’s how the idea for Rainbow Waves was born.

Our Vision – Freedom, Acceptance, and Authenticity
Rainbow Waves is not just another charter company. It will be a true refuge where everyone—whether out and proud or still living discreetly—can feel completely free to be themselves. We want to create a space for non-out couples and groups of friends who might not have the freedom to meet or live openly in their home countries. Onboard with us, they can experience genuine acceptance, freedom, and authentic moments without the need to pretend.

We will always be on board—both as professional captains and as friends, supporters, and confidants. We’ll be here for you when you want to talk, but also when you seek only peace and privacy. Each journey will be a unique experience, with an emphasis on fine dining, comfort, discretion, and freedom.

Project Implementation – Your Support Will Make It Happen
Rainbow Waves is set up as an “all-or-nothing” project because we take it seriously and responsibly. If we reach the minimum funding goal, we will purchase a quality yacht at least 15–16 meters long (with 3 guest cabins). If we raise a higher amount, we will be able to immediately invest in a larger, eco-friendlier yacht (18–23 meters), offering even more comfort and lower operational costs.
If the minimum amount is not reached, all contributions will be automatically refunded—fully transparent and safe.
